About Us

Because you are kind enough to read our blog, you probably have the right to get to know us a little better. We are just two best friends, trying to find our place in this world. I hope you can read our blog and join us as we try to better ourselves inside and out.(:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey y’all! First off, I would like to sincerely thank all of you for taking the time out of your lives to read our blog! It means a lot to both of us! I’m Kierstin, and my life mainly consists of school, sports, friends and, to be honest, boys. I’ve been a military brat for my whole of my life. I’ve lived in six different places; Illinois, Colorado, Turkey, Delaware, Texas and Ohio. Texas is my favorite place in the world, and yes, I do have a slight accent! Having both of my parents being in the Air Force has been both a blessing and a curse. We move very frequently, so I don’t have any friends that I grew up with. That being said, I would like to say that I’m very outgoing pretty darn good at making friends.

Like Libby, I’d like to consider myself athletic. I’m an all-star cheerleader (you know, those girls who tumble and throw people up in the air? Yeah, that’s me)! I am also a diver, and a runner. I don’t run for the school though, I’m trying to improve my times so that I might run cross country next year! I’m very busy, and I regret not having much time to spend with my friends during the school year. I take every honors-level class offered. Considering all of those classes, no study hall, and sports, I’m always moving or doing something! My parents are very strict when it comes to school and sports, and like everyone’s parents, they push me a little too hard sometimes.

I love to sing; that is one thing that always cheers me up. I write my own songs that relate to whatever situation I am in. I am also a very active person. I run every day and also do workouts to stay in the best shape possible for my sports. I try to live a very healthy lifestyle! I want to be a pediatriconcologist when I am older, and help diagnose and treat children with cancer. I feel that that is my calling. I just want to make a difference in the world. Everyday when I wake up, that is what I strive to do!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Waaadduuuppp. Ever since a young age, I knew I wanted something bigger than the average life; I was bored with the idea of a plain-Jane lifestyle. In twenty years, I do not want to wake up every morning and do the same thing day after day. I want to BE something, and be known for it. I want to be a host on E! News, and I want to develop my own empire; I want things so much greater than what I find in Ohio. I look up to Giuliana Rancic, as I believe she walks on water. She is living my dream life: hosting E! News, Fashion Police, and red carpet events. All while flying back and forth from family to work, inspiring people with her touchingstory of surviving breast cancer, having her own TV show, fashion line and writing books. It is what I want, and I hope one day I can meet her and tell her how much she has inspired me.

I consider myself athletic. I play varsity basketball and track & field, and I am not ashamed to say that those sports have been my life for the past eight years. But do not get me wrong, the second that game or meet is over, I take off my gym shoes, and my heels are put right back on. I am girly at heart, but I am not afraid of getting a little dirty. I could be great at school, one of the top in my class, if I put my mind to it. I take honors level classes, but I just do not apply myself as well as I should. I lack the attention-span at the moment, I just cannot focus on anything for more than a few minutes. EXCEPT, if it has to do with boys.... Now that topic I could talk about all day! (:

I guess to sum up everything... in fifty years from now I want to be able to look back on my life and say to myself, "Damn. I did something with my life. I proved them all wrong."
