Random Hilariousness! Or... Awkwardness?

Okay, so I'm sorry for all of the inactivity on the blog lately! Libby and I have both been very busy this week, but I promise that a lot of good articles are coming up, so stay tuned!
Anyway, today I was on a run and I was running by a park next to an elementary school. I was on my last mile (number 4) since Wednesdays are my short run days. So I was running by the park, and apparently, the cross country team practices there on Wednesday. My ex is on the team, so I didn't look over at all; i just kept on running.
About a quarter mile later, I see a car driving slowly behind me. I didn't think much of it, and just focused on my music and the run. Then, I look over and see that the car is now driving next to me. I legitimately thought I was going to be kidnapped. Soooo like any sane person, I started running faster.. and faster... Until I looked over and saw that it was the Cross Country coach, who happened to be yelling at me, but I couldn't hear him because my music was so loud. I immediately stopped to talk to him. This is how the conversation went:

Coach: "What are you doing?"
Me: "Umm... well, I was running."
C: "Why aren't you running cross country?"
Me: "I don't know.."
C: "You don't know?"
Me: "Uh, nooo..."
C: "Do you have any idea what it made me think when I saw you fly past me while I'm running my practice?"
Me: "No, Sir."
C: "It made me think that I need you on my team! What grade are you in?"
Me: "Tenth."
C: "What other sports do you play?"
Me: "Allstar Cheerleading right now"
C: Well, it's a little late for you to join Cross Country noooowww, but you need to do track."
Me: "Maybe.."
C: "You could be really good!"
Me: "I'll ask my parents about it!"

At this point, the OTHER cross country and track coach drove up.

Coach 2: "You found her!"
C: "Well yeah, I wasn't letting her get away."
Me: *just awkwardly standing there*
C2: "That's the girl I was telling you about!"
C: "What's your name?"
Me: "Kierstin (and then my last name)"
C: "Okay, got it. You can continue running now. Talk to you soon! You need to run track and cross country. We need more girls' state qualifiers."
Me: "Okay"
C2: "Bye Kierstin!"
C2: "I can't believe you actually followed her. Creep."
C: "Hey, I want her."
C2: "We're going to get her."

I don't know whether to find this funny, creepy, or awkward..? Lol what do you guys think?
