How to Get the Guy by the End of the Homecoming Game

Hey everyone!(: Okay, so.. Let's talk about boys. We love them, we hate them, they break our hearts, we break theirs. We can't live with them, but can't live without them. We all have that special guy that's always on our mind. You know, the guy who makes your heart beat a little faster (or maybe a lot faster!) whenever you see him or even hear his name mentioned in a conversation. The same guy who, whenever your phone rings or you get a text, you hope it's him. If only dating was like volleyball. You call "mine" and everyone else backs off. But sadly, that's not the case. So here are some tips to hook the guy by the end of the homecoming football game(:

1. Get noticed! Polls have shown that guys are attracted to girls in red and pink. Red is just a sexy color, and pink is cute and feminine! I'd go with red or pink skinny jeans, a black top with a cute necklace to give the outfit a little sparkle, and some bracelets. Of course, I'd have to add some cute shoes(: The key here is to look put together and pretty, not slutty. No stripper heels or super low cut tops. Be sure to leave a little bit to the imagination (;
Another way to get noticed is by having shiny hair. This is scientifically proven; it goes all the way back to the days of cavemen, where a female with shiny hair was a sign that she was fertile. So get a shine spray or serum (no mousses, those make your hair greasy!), and tame those fly-aways. Also, I suggest investing in a shampoo and conditioner that moisturizes hair.
SMELL GOOD. Don't be that weird kid in class who nobody wants to sit next to because they smell like they never shower. Also, PLEASE. I'm seriously begging you... PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAASSEEE NEVER EVER OVERUSE PERFUME AND LOTION. Use either a lotion or a perfume if they have strong scents that don't fade. Don't mix scents, and whatever you think is a good amount, dial it down one or two notches, and that is a reasonable amount of perfume. Just don't overdo it.

2. Watch what you wear. The clothes that you wear all depend on the type of guy you attract. If you wear a lot of flashy clothing and show a lot of skin, you're very likely to attract loud, obnoxious guys who just want to use you for you-know-what. Not all of the time, but it's very common. If you dress cute, you're more likely to attract nice guys. Everyone has their own sense of style. Just make sure you look approachable. Also, unless you are going out, keep the makeup natural. School is no place to try a super dramatic smokey eye unless if for something specific. Nudes, pinks, golds, bronzes, browns, beiges, etc are good colors to wear to school. To be a little daring, wear the brighter colors in moderation.

3. SMILE! :D If you smile, you look happy. Everyone wants to be around someone who is happy! You are much more approachable if you're happy compared to when you look sad or angry.

4. Once you've got his attention, text him. The guys I've spoken to have said that they'd love if the girl made the first move. It takes some of the pressure off of them! If he doesn't respond, maybe he's busy or maybe he's just not into you. Don't sit by the phone waiting for him to text back. You're beautiful! There's definitely a guy who would go for you!

5. Be nice, sweet, and get to know him. If he's someone you want to know more, become his friend. Then, if it's meant to be, things will escalate to something more (:

Good luck!
